Heres a suggestion

The Movement needs tweaking because sometimes it will get stuck and you wont be able to move and also add diagonal walking directions.

In the messed up way you described this game i decided that it is in fact even cooler than i thought. a blob with a shovel fighting of flaming yoshis would be the shit. nuff said 5/5 10/0 just because of that.
